HIIT jump rope

I enjoy waking up and getting in a quick workout.  It’s one of the best ways to start your morning. When my alarm clock went off at 6:00 I didn’t really want to get up but the call to a good workout was strong.  So I pulled out my jump rope and did a little HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).

HITT 20 minute Jump 

5 minute warm up

1:30 minute full out

30 second recover

1:30 full out

30 second recover

1:30 minute full out

30 second recover

30 second recover

1:30 full out

30 second recover

5 minute cool down

 I followed my with a quick arm workout and then my favorite breakfast of all (okay so I love breakfast and have no real favorite)

Whipped Banana Oatmeal!  To whip oatmeal one simply adds banana to the oatmeal while it cooks and then using a fork whips the banana into the oatmeal.  I added a spoonful of peanut butter an a little granola to the top.

Well off to class!  I have maternal and child nutrition first (LOVE) and then stats in the basement (aka potions).  This afternoon will be filled with deviled eggs from my lab
